Gallery Directors

Nuova Galleria Morone was founded in 2011 by Diego Viapiana, who had collaborated for years with the founder of the Galleria Morone, established in Milan in 1966. From the first shows, Nuova Galleria Morone wanted to give a contemporary twist to the exhibition choices, by highlighting the ever-evolving contemporary artistic languages. Over the years, the gallery has developed an exhibition program characterized by research and rediscovery. In addition to the solo shows - among which are Maria Lai, Antonio Scaccabarozzi, Sadegh Tirafkan, Daniela Comani with Roman Opalka are to be mentioned - the gallery set up curated exhibitions; the most important are: "The Cross Shown", "Muse inquietanti", "Una solitudine troppo rumorosa", "La sfida di Aracne", "Urpflanze", "La natura dell'idea". A special attention is also given to Italian and foreign young artists through site-specific projects in the spaces of the gallery.
