Pad. 25 Stand A/1
Located in a XVII century building in Pescara - Italy, Vistamare opened in 2001 with “Camera Italia”, an exhibition curated by Giacinto di Pietrantonio. The gallery's work has always concentrated on artwork created for the gallery's own spaces: for example, Kosuth's 2005 installation "Un'osservazione grammaticale", and the subsequent intervention, in 2007, "Tre momenti separati in una contemplazione", in which the space created by the artist was modified, thanks to an intervention by Ettore Spalletti and the presence of a painting by Giorgio Morandi, as well as the big wall drawing by LeWitt, created in 2015. The gallery focuses on contemporary positions and includes historical artists into its programme. In 2018, together with Lodovica Busiri Vici, Benedetta Spalletti opened a second venue in Milan, in which artists could express ideas, projects and works specifically designed for the space.
