Galleria Allegra Ravizza opened in 2007 in Milan. After five successful years of gallery ownership in Milan, Italy, Allegra Ravizza opened her second venue in Lugano, Switzerland. The gallery continues to focus on the growth of their artists within a cultural and historical context, while connecting to the discourse of today’s art market. It consistently collaborates with museums, archives and foundations around the world; an example includes the exclusive representation and management of the Nanda Vigo Archives. The gallery programming is mainly focused on the avant-garde of the 1960s and 70s, with special focus on ZERO Group, Kinetic and Optical art, and analytic paintings. The gallery also recognizes the importance of providing educational programming and also produces books and catalogues to accompany exhibitions multiple times each year. In 2019, Galleria Allegra Ravizza has inaugurated the vast project named ARCHIVI TEMATICI DEL XX SECOLO.
