Kanalidarte was founded in 2009 from an idea by Afra Canali with an initial focus on Italian and international kinetic and programmed art of the 1960s and 1970s. Luis Tomasello, the French group GRAV, Manzoni Klein Aubertin, the Zero Group with Goepftert, Castellani, Leblanc, Manzoni, Megert, Peeters, Simeti, Spindel, Uecker, Von Graevenitz, represent the initial path of the gallery. Group T, Group N and Group Mid. More recently, the gallery has a desire to focus its programming on an increasingly contemporary basis, hence the most recent and forthcoming exhibitions on the work of the capable Berliner Sophia Pompéry, Jitka Hanzlova, Antonio Riello, Sinta Werner, Rasheed Araeen, Enrico T. De Paris, José Manuel Ballester, Marina Apollonio, Oki Izumi, Aiko Tezuka, Shahpour Pouyan and the newly established collaboration with ceramist Andrea Salvatori.
