Conventions and discounts

You can buy your Special Events ticket with the Trenitalia App, at ticket counters, at authorized travel agencies, or on trenitalia.com:

- select from-to or return ticket for Bologna
- click “see other offers” and, on the pull-down menu in the “Offer” section, select “Special Events”
- enter the code “BOLOGNAFIERE” in the “Agreement code” space
- click “Confirm”
- use the same procedure for your return trip

To be eligible for the offer, you need to have purchased your ticket, so remember to bring it with you on board the train!

Booking changes, ticket changes, and refunds are not permitted. The discounted tickets are applicable for travel between 4 and 9 February 2026. Outbound tickets must have the city of Bologna as destination for travel between 4 and 8 February 2026; return tickets must have the city of Bologna as origin for travel between 6 and 9 February 2026. The promotion is valid for travel on Frecciarossa, Frecciargento, Frecciabianca, in 1st and 2nd class, and in Business, Premium, Standard service levels. Executive level and reservation of seats in the lounge are excluded. You can buy your Special Events ticket with the Trenitalia App, at ticket counters, at authorized travel agencies, or on trenitalia.com up to midnight of the fifth day before the train departs. The number of seats available for each discount level is limited and variable, depending on the day of the week, trains, class, and service level. The system always proposes the lowest available price at the time of purchase.
