Arte Fiera’s new graphic design returns to the most iconic element of its logo: the red circle - which immediately brings to mind the stickers put on artworks as they are sold. It is a strong reference to the art show’s commercial appeal, one of its strong points since the outset.
The circle is now associated with a new important visual sign: the mesh or lattice. Developed from overlaying, cutting up and reconfiguring several different city maps, the lattice pattern represents an existing place: the city of Bologna. It is a visual testimony to Arte Fiera’s new links with its city and region – the ideal breadth for cultural dissemination.
Arte Fiera’s traditional red colour, present throughout the new graphic design, is now accompanied by two new colours: aquamarine and lilac. Coordinated colours, they represent the future, rooted in a vibrant past.
