With its starting point in an idea of Bianca Maria Menichini and Christian Akrivos, the 10 A.M. ART gallery’s approach is oriented towards fairs and museums. Furthermore, it also makes the most of its exhibition venue near to the Naviglio Pavese canal. The gallery’s interests are centred on the work of artists whose work is concerned with alterations of visual perception, and it pays particular attention to Optical-Kinetic Art and Arte Programmata. 10 A.M. ART’s aim is to create a dialogue between already historicised artists and the newer generations by comparing and contrasting their work on the transformations of perceptive experience. The shows it organises are always accompanied by bilingual catalogues published by the gallery, and which contain exclusive essays by internationally famous curators. 10 A.M. ART collaborates at first hand with the artists or with their heirs and the Foundations/Archives that represent them, developing a primary market.
