The Laura Bulian Gallery, based in Milan, was founded in 2008. Since its inception the gallery is focused on a constant rigorous research of contemporary visual culture and creativity from Eastern Europe, Russia, the Caucasus and Central Asia. The Gallery has also developed in its exhibition program a deep interest for the international art scene of the 70s, including Conceptual Art and Visual Poetry. These features, together with a particular focus on artist practices with social, anthropological and political significance, have progressively given to the gallery a strong identity. In September 2015, the Laura Bulian Gallery has celebrated its 7th anniversary by doubling the size of its exhibition space in a new 220 sqm venue. Artists of the gallery include: V. Akhunov; S. Atabekov; E. Di Maggio; N. Kadan; G. Kasmalieva & M. Djumaliev; A. Khoroshilova; A. Jorobaev; U. La Pietra; V. Martek; I. Mukhin; A. Roiter; E. Sussman; M. Tadic; Y. & V. Vorobyev.
