Gallery Directors

Antonio Battaglia starts working as gallerist in December 1997; he interrupted his studies at Brera Academy of Art and opened his gallery in the Brera district of San Carpoforo Street. At the end of 2002 he moved to the current location in via Ciovasso 5 in the same neighborhood, where he continues proposing the young Italian painters in contact with Brera Academy and its artists-professors. Over the last few years the exhibition program has presented the revival of artists from the 60s and the 70s who worked mostly in the Milan area: Armando Marrocco, Aldo Spoldi, Gottardo Ortelli, Riccardo Guarneri, Angelo Cagnone, Fernanda Fedi, Giovanni Campus, Paolo Barrile, Eugenio Carmi, Remo Bianco. The gallery is always focused on new trends; it supports its artists for the participation in public exhibitions and for the publication of catalogues, in addition to presenting them in important modern and contemporary art fairs.
