Gallery Directors

Galleria Melesi was founded in 1991 and managed by Sabina Melesi who has transformed her passion and her love for the art into a profession. Every exhibition is accompanied by a bilingual catalogue and it can develop a theme, a historic period or site-specific works made for the occasion. The direct and frequent relationship between the artists and the gallery owner guarantee the authenticity and high quality of the art pieces presented. At the entrance of the gallery, there is a permanent sculpture of the artist Eduard Habicher, titled “will kommen”. The sculpture, composed of two 3 metre-high parts, represents an embrace and highlights the concept of welcoming people in the gallery. Galleria Melesi manages the Jiri Kolar Archive since 2000. Cella, Domestico, Dusi, Forese, Gaspare, Kazumasa, Opalka, Pinelli, Prigov, Stefanoni, Uberto are some of the selected artists. Mimmo Iacopino, presented at Arte Fiera Solo Show, works with the Galleria Melesi since 2012.
