The Niccoli Art Gallery, founded in 1970 within the library opened in Parma by Giuseppe Niccoli, is currently directed by his sons Marco and Roberto and has always been involved in the transmission of culture through public and private exhibition initiatives. It hosts production centers of artists such as Artan Shalsi, Alberto Burri, Enrico Castellani, Lucio Fontana, Emilio Isgrò, Felice Levini, Piero Manzoni, Elio Marchegiani, Paolo Minoli, Salvatore Scarpitta, Aldo Tagliaferro. Since the 2000s, the Gallery has dedicated itself to relocating artists such as Agostino Bonalumi, Alik Cavaliere, Paolo Scheggi and Vasco Bendini to the cultural scene under the operational direction of Marco Niccoli. The private institution is currently home to the archives of important twentieth-century artists such as Alik Cavaliere, Fukushi Ito and Conrad Marca-Relli, placed under the careful direction of Roberto Niccoli.
