Gallery Directors

Armanda Gori Arte was founded in April 1998 when Armanda Gori and her husband Aldo Marchi decided to open a gallery to share their growing passion for contemporary art. In the early years, the gallery organized frequent "Art Café" events at their first location in Prato. The artists featured in the exhibitions organized in the gallery participated in these "Art Café" events, as well as critics, collectors and many of friends who were starting to share their enthusiasm for contemporary art. In 2002 the gallery moved to its current location in Viale della Repubblica 66 in Prato, continuing to feature works by renowned Italian artists, with shows organized at the gallery and other institutional sites. In 2014 the gallery opened a new exhibition site in Pietrasanta. The gallery publishes a general catalogue of the artist Tino Stefanoni; in addition, Aldo Marchi is the scientific collaborator of the Giuseppe Chiari Archive.
