Bibo’s Place is the result of the bond and friendship that links Andrea Bizzarro and Matteo Boetti. As they both love the city of Todi, and have lived here for many years, they have chosen the place as the showcase for their passion of art. The link with the renowned gallerist, Giuliana Soprani Dorazio, has brought them to choose the location that once housed her own historic gallery. The unique atmosphere within Palazzo Pensi allows the artists to present their work in dialogue with an original 16th century backdrop that seems to have stood still in time. The gallery’s programme reflects the diverse personalities and interests of the founders: one of whom has a keen interest in the historicized masters from the 20th century Italian art world, and the other who thrives on promoting and supporting young artists. Bizzarro and Boetti are both of the firm belief that there will be no pauses in their exhibitions, just a continual switch from one generation to another.
