Pad. 26 Stand B/87
The first gallery was opened in Rome in 1898 by Pasquale Addeo, the great-grandfather of the current owner Fabrizio Russo, who since 1984 has managed this family gallery after four generations. After almost a hundred years of activity, the gallery continues to organize important personal and group exhibitions of Italian 20th century painters, such as: Campigli, Guttuso, Gentilini, Sironi, Boccioni, Cambellotti, Afro, Pirandello and many others. Special attention is given to Italian Futurism and some references to the 19th century. The gallery specializes in Italian art of the 20th century, with a growing interest for young Italian and international contemporary artists. Its spaces are dedicated to new promising talents, which cohabit the space with the masters of the 20th century. Galleria Russo is in via Alibert 20, Rome, right by famous Spanish Steps.
