In June 2015, Andrea Albertini, President of Damiani publisher, opened a new gallery space in Bologna. Spazio Damiani is committed to promoting both 20th century and contemporary photographic art. On the occasion of Arte Fiera 2017, it is presenting a selection of iconic and unseen images from the show and publication "Fink on Warhol: New York Photographs of the 1960s" by Larry Fink. The show includes a stunning series of black and white photographs illustrating the dialogue between the social and political fervour of New York of the '60s and the artistic and nihilistic figure of Andy Warhol and exponents of the Factory. The first exhibition was "Morandi’s Objects" by the acclaimed photographer Joel Meyerowitz. Past exhibition include "Dirt Meridian" by Andrew Moore and "Opera" by David Leventi. Spazio Damiani offers a continuing program of exhibitions devoted to showcasing the work of significant contemporary artists along with lectures and other events.
