Gallery Directors

The Guastalla Centro Arte gallery was founded in 2000 by Marco and Laura Guastalla with the artistic direction of their father Giorgio, already co-owner of Guastalla Modern and Contemporary Art. The most significant exhibitions were the ones dedicated to the masters of the Italian '900 such as Marino Marini, Renato Guttuso, Franco Gentilini, Arturo Martini, and those representing some aspects of Italian Pop Art, as Enrico Baj, Emilio Tadini, Franco Angeli, Tano Festa, artists traditionally associated with the gallery, and the exhibition of Paul Jenkins, an internationally renowned artist. The gallery also made solo shows of Bruno Ceccobelli, Mark Kostabi, Massimo Barzagli, contemporary authors. Furthermore, in recent years, it organized exhibitions of international modern masters such as Marc Chagall, Joan Mirò, Antoni Tapies, with unique and original graphic art works. The gallery also promotes Casa Natale Amedeo Modigliani,a house-museum and study center dedicated to the great artist from Livorno in his birthplace.
