Gallery Directors

Studio Vigato began its activity in 1977 in Piazza Carducci, where Graziano Vigato, for over ten years, developed an eclectic program that included solo exhibitions by artists such as V. Bendini, S. Di Stasio, O. Galliani, M. Schifano, R. Barni, A. Tapies, M. Gastini, and P. Manai and many more. Aside to these solo shows, broad based group exhibitions were organized, among which we remember, in 1982, the one dedicated to “Anachronism” (curated by Maurizio Calvesi and Marisa Vescovo), which led the gallery to work with the Venice Biennale of 1984, setting up the rooms of O.Galliani, M.A.Tanganelli, S.Di Stasio in the section “Art in the mirror”. Over time, the gallery has kept faith to its history, continuing a precise and characteristic work in its new space in via Ghilini in Alessandria. Led since 2008 by Graziano’s son Fabrizio, the gallery continues its work presenting new proposals and international exhibitions.
