Guido Guidi and Chico Schoen opened the gallery in 2002, setting up partnerships which still continue today with young artists such as Corrado Zeni, Giacomo Costa and Matteo Basilé. Over the years, Guidi&Schoen have represented great photographers such as Massimo Vitali, Olivo Barbieri, Richard Kern and Daniele Buetti while also investing in emerging artists such as Alessandro Lupi, Vania Comoretti, Andrea Chiesi, Davide La Rocca, Peppe Perone and Alex Pinna. In 2017, moved into a new large space whose 4 floors give the opportunity to organize two different exhibitions at the same time. The gallery promotes painting and photography, video art, installations and sculpture, without preference for any particular line or medium, but seeking art characterised by profound meaning and formal sophistication. Over the years, the gallery has produced a series of monographs dedicated to the artists it represents and worked with prominent international contemporary art institutes.
