Galleria Forni has been one of the reference points for collectors of figurative painting and sculpture since 1967. Over the years, the gallery in Bologna supplemented its activities with other art galleries, two of which abroad, first in Amsterdam between the 70s and 80s, then in Tokyo until 1990 and, more recently, two others in Italy, in Milan until 2010 and Ragusa until 2011. After the death of Tiziano Forni, founder of the Gallery, his daughter Paola took over the direction in 2008. Drawing from a stable of established artists, the gallery has been renowned for its constant search of emerging artists, concentrating on those young Italian and foreign artists who, among the countless expressions of the avant-garde, have chosen to express themselves through figurative painting and sculpture. Photography has been lately introduced.
