Our experience in the artistic field started in 1972 with Edizioni Cinquantasei. Our publishing company has been, and still is, the main cultural support for all our projects. Galleria d’Arte Cinquantasei was founded in 1980 under the artistic control of Franco Solmi, who at the time was the Director of the Modern Art Museum in Bologna. The project was to promote Bolognese artists between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, who were the main protagonists of the great Bolognese School. Subsequently, extensive research carried out between 1985 and 1989 led to the creation of an international initiative on the art of the USSR from the October Revolution to the collapse of the Berlin Wall. Since the year 2000 we have been dealing with some, very important artists at a national and international level (such as Sironi, Campigli, De Chirico, Carrà, Balla, Guttuso, Severini, Schifano and others) and some very talented artists, such as Mirella Guasti, Luigi Pellanda and Artur Sulce.
