Km0 was born from the thirty years experience in the field of modern and contemporary art, developed by the project's creators. Km0 is a space dedicated to Italian art in relation to similar experiences developed in Austria and in Europe. The gallery, 600 sq m on three levels, is divided up thematically: a project room, a main exhibition space, a multifunctional bookshop area, a special room dedicated to design. Km0 was inaugurated in 2014 with an exhibition of Lucio Fontana "Eine Weltanschauung". Among the most important shows we can mention: "Icon for a transit. Salvatore Scarpitta and Joseph Beuys"; "Malerei als Wissenschaft. Josef Albers, Mario Ballocco and Max Bill";"Early works and installations. Dennis Oppenheim"; "Thanks to Luigi Ghirri and Italian emerging photography". Still ongoing the exhibitions by Antonio Ottomanelli and Giovanni Hänninen. Km0 collaborates with major Italian and international art critics and institutions as MART in Rovereto and VAF Stiftung, Frankfurt.
