In 1964 Dino Tega opened a gallery in Riccione with an exhibition dedicated to Filippo De Pisis followed by many more, notably Alberto Savinio. Following in his father’s footsteps and absorbing both the sensitivity and the ability to select quality works of art, Giulio Tega inaugurated a new location in Milan, with a Giorgio De Chirico exhibition. The following years he organised a retrospective of Alberto Magnelli, as well as various exhibitions dedicated to Chagall, De Pisis, Kolar, Mathieu, Melotti, Perilli, Savinio, Schneider, Tadini, and Uncini. Then Galleria Tega began to take part in important international exhibitions: Art Basel, Miami Art Basel, Art Geneve, FIAC, Frieze Masters London. Other exhibitions followed, dedicated to Licini, Fontana, Manzoni, Burri, Kounellis, Rotella and Perilli. In 2006 Galleria Tega inaugurated an important exhibition of the famous Colombian maestro Fernando Botero. In 2013, the daughters of Giulio, Eleonora and Francesca, joined the gallery team and actively contributed to the realization of Massimo Campigli Catalogue Raisonne. In the following years have been organized exhibitions dedicated to Perilli, Capogrossi, Dorazio, Davenport
