Gallery Directors

Nuova Galleria Morone was founded in 2011. The director Diego Viapiana has collaborated for years with the founder of the Galleria Morone, established in Milan in 1966. From the first shows, Nuova Galleria Morone has given a contemporary twist to the exhibition choices, by highlighting the ever-evolving contemporary artistic languages. Over the years, the gallery has developed an exhibiting program of research and rediscovery. In addition to the personal shows - Maria Lai, Antonio Scaccabarozzi, Sadegh Tirafkan, Daniela Comani with Roman Opalka - the gallery set up curated exhibitions – including The Cross Shown, Muse inquietanti, Una solitudine troppo rumorosa, La sfida di Aracne, Urpflanze-la natura dell'idea. Special attention is also given to young Italian and foreign artists through site specific projects in the spaces of the gallery. Nuova Galleria Morone is in membership with ANGAMC.
