Pad. 25 Stand B/5
Located in a XVII century building in Pescara - Italy, Vistamare opened in 2001 with “Camera Italia”. The gallery's work has always concentrated on artwork created for the gallery's own spaces: for example, Kosuth's 2005 installation Un'osservazione grammaticale and the subsequent (2007) intervention Tre momenti separati in una contemplazione in which the space created by Kosuth was modified thanks to an intervention by Spalletti and the presence of a painting by Morandi, as well as the big wall drawing by LeWitt created in 2015. The gallery focuses on contemporary positions and includes historical artists in its programme. Benedetta Spalletti is interested in the works of Italian and international avant- garde: Airò, Fregni Nagler, Huws, Jodice, Kosuth, Linke, Spalletti, and Steinbach. On March 2018, Benedetta Spalletti together with Lodovica Busiri Vici, opened a new gallery space in Milan - Vistamarestudio - with an exhibition by Friedman followed by shows by Barba and Public Movement.
