The L'Incontro art gallery was founded in 1974 by Antonietta Bettini and her daughter Erminia Colossi. With the passsing of time it expanded its reach from the region of Brescia to the whole country, on occasion collaborating with foreign subjects. Among its artists are the most famous Italian names, such as Adami, Alviani, Baj, Biasi, Boetti, Bonalumi, Isgrò, Pomodoro, Raciti, Rotella, Simeti and Uncini. Since the beginning, moreover, the gallery has paid more and more attention to international movements, in order to face the needs of a growing global audience. Among the names of those trends are Christo, Vasarely, Max Bill, and Kounellis. Whenever possible each solo exhibition is organized with the help and approval of the artist. Most importantly, the gallery is proud to work with renowed museums such as Palazzo Ducale in Mantua and Galleria d'Arte Moderna and Macro both in Rome.
