In 1987 Alessandro Bagnai opens his gallery in Siena. The gallery starts working very early on with a group of artists defined as the ‘New Roman School’. Among them Piero Pizzi Cannella, Gianni Dessì, Giuseppe Gallo, Nunzio and Marco Tirelli. The predominant attention towards painting form the eighties is marked by collaborations with artists from a former generation such as Sandro Chia, Enzo Cucchi, Mario Schifano and other international names like Rainer Fetting, David Salle and Julian Schnabel. From the beginning the galleries attention is also aimed towards younger artists like Massimo Barzagli, Vittorio Corsini, Daniele Galliano, Paolo Leonardo, Maurizio Savini and many others. In the last years the gallery starts a new important collaboration with Stefano Di Stasio. At this edition of Arte Fiera, Alessandro Bagnai Gallery in collaboration with the Antonella Villanova Gallery shows also the works of: Attai Chen and Diego Cibelli.
