metroquadro opened in 2008 in Rivoli, exhibiting works by the photographers Erwin Olaf and Steve Sabella, followed since 2009 by two solo exhibitions by the American Shara Hughes, then included in the Whitney Biennial 2017, and four solo shows by the American master Mel Bochner. In 2011 the gallery organized in Torino “The Changing Room”, show curated by Martina Corgnati and Egyptian Aida Eltorie, presenting and hosting 15 middle-East artists and their work, during the same days when the Arab Springs started. In 2016 it has moved to its actual location in the center of Turin. Since 2013 has been exhibiting regularly in several fairs in the USA.
