Gallery Directors

The Biasutti gallery of Giampiero Biasutti was founded in Turin in 1985 with a retrospective dedicated to Virgilio Guidi. The gallery aims to present and to promote authors from the Italian Novecento as Sironi, Rosai, Soffici, De Pisis, Cassinari, Morlotti, Spazzapan, and some international post-war artists like Soldati, Sutherland, Ernst, Rotella, and Schifano. With “Fairytale” by Emilio Tadini, in May 2000 Giampiero Biasutti inagurated his new headquarters in V. della Rocca 6, in the Borgo Nuovo district, a venue that in recent years has been able to rediscover and enhance the charm and the importance of the past by presenting exibitions devoted to Hartung, Capogrossi, Marino Marini, Griffa, Knap, Ruggeri, Adami, Matta, Arrigo Lora Totino, Chia. In march 2013 Giampiero Biasutti opens a new space in V. della Rocca 10, presenting solo shows by Knap, Adami, Arrigo Lora Totino, Ruggeri, Griffa e Mattioli. Among ist activities are assessments, consultancies and exhibitions organization. The gallery is attending Arte Fiera with Giorgio Griffa.
