Pad. 26 Stand A/56
Founded in Milan in 2005 by the venezuelan artist Federico Luger, the gallery has been promoting the works of young as well as established artists developing unique and innovative projects. Due to the nomadic spirit of its owner, the gallery has been changing its location several times, expanding its presence also in Venice (2013) with THE IMMIGRANTS’ project. Finally, in 2015, Federico Luger has united his forces with Galleria Pack giving birth to SPAZIO22, in which many collaborations were born with importants national and international galleries (Galleria Continua, Anthony Reynolds Gallery, Alfonso Artiaco, Iragui). Among the most significant exhibitions for the gallery: “Davvero”, a solo show by Bruna Esposito that established a dialogue between the fish eyes and bamboo brooms and “Detectors” by Luca Pozzi, a site-specific installation in which the works stand up to real painting devices suspended in space and time through the allegory of the game of ping-pong.
