Gallery Directors

Founded in 1995 by Giorgio Gaburro and direct along with Beatrice Benedetti, Boxart has represented Italian exponents of contemporary art: Schifano, Isgrò, Marco Cingolani, Andrea Facco, Mauro Fiorese, Andrea Mastrovito. Since 2006 it opened to international names, like Hermann Nitsch, Kim Joon, Steve Sabella and the Chinese artists Gao Brothers and Liu Bolin. In 2015 the twentieth anniversary of the gallery is celebrated with a group show of 10 artists who each exhibited 2 works, a show followed by Liu Bolin's project in Sicily focused on immigration. Among the museum collaborations are those with the Musée d'art Moderne of Saint-Étienne (France), with the MART of Rovereto, the Museum H. C. Andersen the Galleria d’Arte Moderna in Rome, where in 2013 is held in collaboration with Boxart a great anthology of Emilio Isgrò. In 2017 a Palindrome Banquet for only 100 guests marks the opening of a Daniel Spoerri solo exhibition.
