Gallery Directors

L’ARIETE artecontemporanea of Bologna, founded and directed since 1983 by Patrizia Raimondi, has always dedicated its exhibition projects to the dialogue between protagonists and emerging artists of the contemporary art scene. In these thirty-five years the Gallery has presented exhibitions of German artists from the historical avant-gardes to today, the project 'South Africa Trilogy' and thematic exhibitions with works by international artists as James Brown Chantal Joffe Beth Moon Luigi Ontani Aldo Mondino Mimmo Paladino Omar Galliani Maurizio Bottarelli in dialogue, through conceptual and stylistic relationships, with authors of the last generations appreciated for their technical and poetic quality as Nicola Samorì Ettore Frani Lemeh42 Rudy Cremonini Luca Lanzi and Paolo Migliazza. The Gallery's constant commitment is in fact the scouting of young talents - through the spin-off L'ARIETELAB - of which it curates public and private projects and video production.
