Gallery Directors

The Galleria Poggiali was founded in Florence in September 2016 with the idea of perfecting the research proposals connected with both historic names and new generations of artists. Enzo Cucchi, Luigi Ontani and Gilberto Zorio have all displayed their work at specifically-conceived shows, always accompanied by catalogues which are frequently produced in liaison with publishers. For years, the gallery has been monitoring the work of Giovanni Frangi, Luca Pignatelli and Manfredi Beninati. Fully aware of the importance of languages and cultures of international extraction, and always with expressly-conceived activities, the gallery follows the work of Zhivago Duncan, with whom it produced the exhibition Faith&Fathom, featuring 18 international artists including Christian Achenbach, Slater Bradley, Tjorg Douglas Beer, Jonas Burgert, John Isaacs, Julian Rosefeldt and Tim Noble & Sue Webster. In Florence, as the launching-site for the declension of a universal language, the gallery has also displayed the work of David Lachapelle and Youssef Nabil. It has been following the work of Fabio Viale since 2014.
