Now in its 13th consecutive edition, the Rotary Award is presented to the most creative installation at Arte Fiera 2025, whether a creation by an artist or the overall setup of a stand.
The 13th edition of the Award is promoted by all of the Rotary Clubs of Bologna, combined in the Felsineo Rotary Group, the Rotary International District 2072 Emilia Romagna and Republic of San Marino, and Rotaract Bologna.
Participating along with Rotaract Bologna (partner since the first edition of the Award) are all of the young members of Rotaract in the Bologna area (Petroniano Group).
The Award is sponsored by the Libera Accademia di Studi Caravaggeschi “Francesco Maria Cardinal del Monte” research facility. The Award consists of:
Jury:
Davide Daninos, curator, critic, and Art Programme Leader, Marangoni Institute Florence
Giacomo Fontana, Chairman of Rotary Club Bologna Valle del Samoggia
Maura Pozzati, art critic and teacher at the Academy of Fine Arts, Bologna
Leonardo Regano, art historian and independent curator
Matteo Zauli, Director, Carlo Zauli Museum, Faenza
Galleries:
Winner: Studio G7 Gallery, B51
Motivation: The jury chose Studio G7 Gallery for its courageous presentation of Daniela Comani’s project entitled Perturbazione #2, an installation focusing on the relationship between weather and climate change, which presents her mother’s car destroyed by a tree felled by the wind.
Rotaract Award and Andrea Sapone Award: Juri Bizzotto, Astuni Public Studio Gallery, B77
Motivation: The jury chose the artist Juri Bizzotto for his consistency and control of various media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and fragrances, with which he created a mature and original narrative that transformed the Astuni Public Studio Gallery into his aesthetic imagination.
