Stefano Contini

The Contini Art Gallery is an expression of the solid professional method of its founder, Stefano Contini, and is a milestone in the world of Modern and Contemporary Art, both nationally and internationally. Stefano Contini opened his first gallery in 1979 in Mestre. Today the main gallery is based in Venice, where it is possible to admire artworks by important Masters, such as Manolo Valdés, Fernando Botero, Igor Mitoraj, Robert Indiana and Julio Larraz. A new two floors gallery was inaugurated in Venice last spring, dedicated to Italian talented artists, including Mario Arlati, Enzo Fiore and Carla Tolomeo. Two other important galleries are located in Cortina d'Ampezzo. This year, the Contini Art Gallery has focused its attention on the Spanish artist Manolo Valdés, with his innovative expressive research; further attention will be also paid to the elegant sculptures by Igor Mitoraj, and to the paintings by Julio Larraz, expression of a magic realism influenced by the Cuban background.
