MAIN SECTION
The TUCCI RUSSO Gallery was founded in 1975 in Turin by Antonio Tucci Russo, inaugurating with an exhibition by Pier Paolo Calzolari and representing from the beginning numerous artists of the Arte Povera group, including Giovanni Anselmo, Mario Merz, Marisa Merz, Giulio Paolini and Giuseppe Penone. The Gallery then presented artists such as Daniel Buren, Tony Cragg, Lili Dujourie, Harald Klingelhöller, Richard Long, Paolo Mussat Sartor, Maria Nordman, Alfredo Pirri, Thomas Schütte and Jan Vercruysse, continuing to investigate the new trends that have emerged in the most recent generations of artists, including Mario Airò, Gianni Caravaggio, Christiane Löhr, Robin Rhode and Conrad Shawcross. The TUCCI RUSSO gallery currently has two locations: in Torre Pellice, a town near Turin, where it occupies approximately 1200 square meters of exhibition space in a charming former textile factory, and in the central area of Turin, in a historic building of the city.
