Fuocherello is a contemporary art gallery within the De Carli Artistic Foundry in Volvera (TO). Drawing inspiration from the Italian children’s game Fuoco-acqua, Fuocherello strives to embody the blind pursuit and the thrilling near-discovery of something its founders deeply sought in the contemporary art world: sculpture. What sets Fuocherello apart is its commitment to experimentation and its dedication to emerging talents. The gallery’s program provides artists the unique opportunity to develop their works directly within the foundry, supported by its in-house technical team. This setup transforms the space into a dynamic hybrid of atelier, learning hub, and exhibition venue. At Fuocherello, exhibitions are fluid; artists are encouraged to modify and evolve their works throughout the show’s duration. This process offers viewers a rare glimpse behind the scenes—revealing not only the artist’s practice but also the thoughts and scenarios that shape their creations.
