Ncontemporary was established by Emanuele Norsa in 2014 in London; it now runs its main program in Milan, under the direction of Federica Barletta. It collaborates with galleries, collectors, curators and public institutions, with the main objective to support emerging and mid-career artists interested in pushing the boundaries of their respective practices. From 2014 until the end of 2016 Ncontemporary’s main exhibition space was located in a former garage space in Knightsbridge, London. The venue was opened with a special project by Patrick Tuttofuoco. In early 2017 the gallery relocated to Milan where it opened its first exhibition space in Via Malaga 4. In January 2019 Ncontemporary inaugurated its new venue in Milan, in Via Lulli, where it currently holds five shows each year and a series of site-specific installations created for its project room and outdoor space.
