Gallery Directors

The MAAB gallery was established in Padua in 2009; in 2013 it opened a new venue in the heart of Milan. From the very beginning the gallery has worked with the artists who dominated the European art scene from the post-war period onwards. Its programme is centred on the art trends that developed in the 1960s, with particular attention being paid to Op Art. The MAAB Gallery is also interested in the art languages of the last decades of the twentieth century. The gallery collaborates with important cultural institutions in the organisation of temporary exhibitions, and also has a great interest in historical records, something that is essential for the publication of the catalogues that accompany its exhibitions. The MAAB Gallery manages the Alberto Biasi Archive.
