Gallery Directors

The Contini Art Gallery, renowned for its art and culture, represents the realization of a dream of its founder and owner, Stefano Contini. With 40 years of experience he has made his career a symbol of prestige and competence. In 1979 he opened his first gallery in Mestre, the starting point on which to base his next brilliant career step as an art dealer. In the exhibition spaces of Venezia and Cortina d’Ampezzo, works by great masters of Modern and Contemporary art coexist side by side, such as the classical sculptures of Igor Mitoraj, the unmistakable figures of Fernando Botero, the wide range of materials by Manolo Valdés, the painting of Julio Larraz and the colorful Pop Art forms of Robert Indiana, just to mention a few. Prestigious artists from the world of contemporary art have not distracted him from finding new and promising figures from across the art world. It is for this reason that the Contini Art Gallery has also become a supporter for emerging artists.
