PoliArt Contemporary was founded in Bologna in 1997. In 2003 it moved to Milan. PoliArt’s mission has always been to create an independent and self-financed curatorial activity against the transformation of artworks in securities, for the collectors who buy artworks as opposed to artwork’s values, against the “sold for” price of the auctions, for the curatorial and marketable enhancement of the artists. PoliArt organized exhibitions of artists like Afro and Vedova. It was one of the first European galleries in the Kinetik Art renaissance (exhibition of Le Parc, Garcia Rossi, Sobrino, Biasi), also showing works by Ormenese, Bonalumi, Tornquist, Conti, Arcangelo, Martini, Picenni. The gallery is strongly committed to contemporary art, exhibiting artists like Attruia, Arcangelo, Casentini, Colli, D’Oora, De Angelis, De Nisco, Fabbri, Lombardini, Renko, D’Orta. PoliArt is seeking to create involvement, focusing on artworks as visible concepts and building new models of existence.
