Born in 2004, Galleria Michela Rizzo has become a reference point in the contemporary art scene. It promotes international and Italian artists, both emerging and renowned, like Roman Opalka, Hamish Fulton, Antoni Muntadas, Fabio Mauri, Riccardo Guarneri, Nanni Balestrini, Federico De Leonardis, Francesco Jodice, Mariateresa Sartori, David Rickard, Matteo Fato, Alessandro Sambini, David Tremlett and Michael Hoepfner. It hosted shows by Franco Vaccari, Vito Acconci and Richard Nonas. It collaborates with museums on important projects, like "Lawrence Carroll" and "Carpaccio - Opalka, time of painting", curated by Ludovico Pratesi, at Museo Correr; "In 4D dal fluire alla stabilità" by Tony Cragg at Ca’ Pesaro; "Barry X Ball. Portraits and Masterpieces" at Ca’ Rezzonico. Among the projects realized in synergy with institutions are: "Repetitive Walk" by Hamish Fulton at Palazzo Ducale in Venice and "American Recordings" by Francesco Jodice, curated by Massimo Melotti at the Castello di Rivoli.
