Flash Art Italia Award

During Arte Fiera, the second edition of the Flash Art Italia Award will be held, sixty years after the birth of the historic magazine. Created in 2025, the Award considers Italy’s entire art ecosystem and gives full value to artists, gallerists, museum directors, foundations, and independent spaces, as well as to territories and businesses that conducted high-quality artistic research in the previous year. Research and profundity of methods are the guide words of the Flash Art Italia Award. Therefore, the Award, more than commemorative, is a tool to observe what is emerging: methods, viewpoints, forms of thought that create the future.

The 2026 Flash Art Italia Award will regard 10 categories: Best Artist, Best Curator, Best Gallery, Best Territory, Best Institution, Best Project Space, Art and Fashion Award, Art and Business Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, and Writing Award – attesting to the complexity and strength of an Italian culture system that is too often fragmented.

The selection process, conducted by an authoritative selection committee, calls for a series of nominations for each category, with 3 finalists from which the winner is chosen.

The award ceremony will be held in the charming Cinema Modernissimo in Bologna on February 6, 2026, confirming Arte Fiera’s role as the reference point on the Italian art scene.
