John Rajchman

John Rajchman is a philosopher working in the areas of art history, architecture, and continental philosophy. He is an Adjunct Professor and former Director of Modern Art M.A. Programs in the Department of Art History and Archaeology at Columbia University in New York. He has previously taught at Princeton University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Coll├Ęge International de Philosophie in Paris, and The Cooper Union, among others. He is a Contributing Editor for Artforum, he is on the board of Critical Space, and was a former editor of October. He has recently edited French Philosophy since 1945: Problems, Concepts, Inventions (with E. Balibar and A. Boyman, 2011), and published Truth and Eros: Foucault, Lacan and the Question of Ethics (2013).
