Visitors experience

Visitors experience

Arte Fiera 2023’s public was greeted by an innovative visitors experience: a mix of opportunities and proposals to make the event even more enjoyable and engaging.

Along with the renewed programme of events, Arte Fiera’s 46th edition presented new reception, sharing, and catering services. With prestigious collaborations, Bologna’s fair of modern and contemporary art will have a multifunctional space for cultural exchange and discussion designed by MCA – Mario Cucinella Architects, and enhanced by a culinary offer with multiple choices and the contribution of top names in fine local wine and food.

Connecting Green Hub

The Service Centre, the area that welcomes visitors before they enter the halls, was designed by Mario Cucinella Architects. MCA, in line with its waste-less logic based on re-use, proposed to re-adapt its “Design with Nature” installation, created for the recent Salone del Mobile di Milano.

The new version of the table-environment, with curved and welcoming shapes, featured a bookshop, a VIP desk, and an area devoted to presentations and meetings, becoming a space for cultural exchange and discussion. The installation is designed to remain open after Arte Fiera, with a variety of shapes and functions for other events to be held in the spaces of BolognaFiere during the year.

At Arte Fiera, art is (also) food

Hospitality and tradition: inspired by the values that have always defined the fair’s identity and that emphasise its close link to the territory, Arte Fiera presented a new culinary offer that gives preference to local flavours and experiences, including both slow and fast options to satisfy both leisurely and quick visits to the fair. The prestigious participation of Bolognese chef Massimiliano Poggi, invited to redesign the VIP Lounge menu, was the highlight of the food experience.
