Michaela Stock
galerie michaela stock was founded in Vienna in 2008. The gallery has a strong focus on conceptual and performance art and CEE artists. The aim of gallery's programme is to explore the interrelations between the artistic practice as performance, photography, video and films as well as those between contemporary art theory and aesthetics and literature. In collaboration with curators, exhibition and performance projects are coordinated for the gallery and abroad. From 2015 to 2018 Michaela Stock organised a yearly performance festival event together with Marko Markovic called DOPUST Vienna. 2019 Michaela Stock establishe CAPTURE PERFORMANCE FOKUS. During COVID-19 crisis Michaela Stock launched in the gallery a project called SALON REAL / VIRTUAL, a new gallery concept: real vs virtual.
